agreeeeeeeeee (with both, seems that the strategy and fighting isnt as much there as i thought. its just a little part of it, like you send some units to fight and make them look cute with some armor but thats it )

Q: Does this game have a single-player campaign? Can I play offline?
A: It's somewhat different than what you'd normally consider a single-player campaign. However, this game does have story arcs that you follow across quests, and if you so choose, you can play them entirely by yourself, growing your empire and destroying your enemies. The quests in Age of Empires Online are similar to "campaign levels" in previous Age games. You will need to be logged in to Games for Windows LIVE to play the game, so offline single-player play is not a part of Age of Empires Online.

Q: Is there PvP gameplay?
A: Absolutely. The game will have PvP. To access the PvP matches, you will need to unlock and build an Arena (which will be free in monetary terms). No other details have been announced for PvP play.
